Castaway Kids: Operation Trip Report

I finally got all of the kid's impressions from vacation recorded and decided it was time to get around to making my kids trip report into a book.

    What a great idea! I love their comments. So adorable and they will cherish that forever. I always write from my perspective and need to remember to ask the kids more about their thoughts. Thanks for the reminder. :)

      My first blog, back when DS was still an itty bitty was written entirely from his point of view. I think it kept me from going to nutty, trying to see the challenges of a toddler more from his eyes and less from mine.
      I do love the way they are so in tune with the Magic of Disney and how they notice the littlest details.

Disney Cruise Line 101 ~ What Not To Wear

Although Disney lists limits on dress (no swimwear in the dining rooms, etc.) here on their website, what exactly do people "normally" wear?   I've got you covered. Formal, Semi-Formal, Cruise Casual, Optional Dress Up, or Pirate will be noted as the evening attire on the front corner of your Personal Navigator each day. So let's break those down Formal These evenings, most guests seem to go with somewhere in the range of "Sunday Best" to cocktail dress. Some opt for tuxes and ball gowns (when else can you really wear one?) Jackets, although requested on the website, seem pretty rare. Dark slacks and a button down are more common.  Rocking the sweater vests and tiaras. Independence day means celebrating America! Barbecue (barbeque or BBQ, depending on the region), family, fireworks, watermelons, swimming and general merriment abound.
