Show Your #DisneySide!

Image
A few days ago I opened my email to a pixie-dusted surprise! It said congratulations! I jumped around in full on excitement mode. Ben asked me what it was. I said, clearly the Disney Parks Moms Panel decided they needed me after all. (Wishful thinking?) Nope, but I *did* get selected by Disney Side Celebrations to plan a celebration of my choosing! I can't help but dream and imagine which way to plan our ultimate #DisneySide party! I will receive free products in order to host the Disney Side @Home Celebration. The opinions expressed here are my own. I'm stuck between a Very Merry Unbirthday party, a Wilderness Explorer themed badge party for my daughter's girl scout troop (I love Up!), maybe a Mad Tea Party, a princess slumber party, maybe a dip into Disney history for our homeschool park group...the possibilities are endless! I guess I just need to patiently wait for my package to see what products I get to work with...If you could pic...

The Royal Treatment ~ R is for Rapunzel

Mom still enjoyed her beauty rest, so we headed off to see if Kylee cared to try to draw Goofy. She already caught the Lava Flow activity on the first sea day so she agreed. Chris preferred to continue to keep on in the lab. We caught the first few heats of Jack-Jack's Diaper Dash (baby racing will never cease to be amusing) then headed off to Animator's Palate for our animation class. Amazed as she was to discover it was early afternoon, we all headed off to Parrot Cay for lunch. The highlight of our afternoon, the matinee of Dreams. We gathered Christopher first, then headed into the Walt Disney Theatre. At this point, Ben started the watch. Basically I love this show so much that it's not so much a matter  of if I cry during as a question of how many times and if I make it through the ...

Magic-al Thanksgiving Cruise - Go For The Ears

Image
After picking up pointers from Marisol, I finally let her go enjoy her cruise. We picked up the kiddos and took them back to the room for some rest and snacks. While they play with them endlessly, the counselors don't feed snacks in the clubs. If we hadn't picked them up they would've gotten hungry and super grump-tastic. I talked to a very kind lady at the room service number, who said that we couldn't order vegan cookies through room service. Well I knew (based on previous Disney trips) that perhaps I'd only caught the wrong cast member. I called right back and got someone else who said they'd be delighted to make us a plate of cookies, but that it takes a couple hours since they don't keep allergy free foods on hand. I asked if we could just order a plate for four the following afternoon. She said yes. But the kids still needed snack...so I ordered Chris his first ever Mickey Bar as well as one for Ben and a bowl of fruit for Kylee and me to split....
