Happy Birthday Ahsoka!

Image
My daughter is thrilled and very excited to add "Jedi Training Academy" to her must do list for our next trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios. So I couldn't resist getting my youngling her very own Ahsoka hoodie for her birthday. Happy Birthday, little padawan. I'm so glad that Ashley Eckstein (who, incidentally also voices the character Ahsoka in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars series) features all the cute and girly clothes a little girly Star Wars fan might want. So I tweeted this photo of Kylee on her birthday. Add caption Ashley, being an awesome human being, tweeted back to with her a Happy Birthday. I told Kylee. WHATTTTT!?! She wants to know when she'll be old enough for her own twitter feed so that "I can be friends with Ahsoka too. The #DisneySide is strong with this one. Thank you again, for making her birthday super special!

In the Running

Happy National Running Day! Okay, so in honor of #RunningDay I picked up a new running shirt and guys, I'm in love! I got the White Rabbit "Cadet Equilibrium Tank" and Cheshire Cat as well from Raw Threads because they were doing some sale that popped up on my Facebook feed. I love the pocket watch on the front and the cute bow back too! Now these tops had been on my radar pinterest running wishlist for a while, but having never used an alternative to tech material for a run, I was fairly skeptical about running in bamboo. On sale, I was willing to give the tops a try. This is much more breathable than any of the C9 tops I usually get from Target. I'm thinking about collecting these and I definitely know what I'm wearing next time I do the Castaway Cay 5K. Now to save up for the white rabbit skirt. It's super cute! Side Note: Did you know before I had this Disney blog, I had a running blog? I've run a couple half marathons and my fair share...

Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia ~ Art of the Theme

Image
Welcome Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia blog hoppers.  Thanks again to Jodi from  +Magical Mouse Schoolhouse , Heidi from  +Heidi's Head , and  +Mike Ellis  for co-hosting! Let's imagine for a second that you wake up five minutes from now to find yourself on a Disney Cruise ship. How can you tell which one you are on? You could just ask one of the cast members, but where is the fun in that? Thinking back to the art of the theme show tour , you remember that the different ships embrace one of two differing art styles. That'd narrow it down to fifty-fifty on your guess of ship, and that's good enough for me. Can you guess or remember what art styles the ships pull their themes from? I'll get to that answer in a bit. Much like the way that Main Street USA hearkens back to an idealized version of 1910 mid-western Main Streets of Walt Disney's childhood, the exterior look of all of the Disney fleet draw from that  golden age of the ocean line...
