102 Ways to Save Money For and At Walt Disney World ~ Review!

In his characteristic infectiously Disney addicted style, Lou Mongello waltzes with ease through 102 Ways to Save Money For and At Walt Disney World.
Covering every imaginable way to save from early in the planning stages until you say "See Ya Real Soon" to the house of mouse, each method is explained with candor and humor so uniquely Lou's that this is really a must read for any WDW Radio fan. I like that it covers each way to save in depth. Allowing for understanding which tips apply for your vacation and which will not suit your style without needing a lot of research outside of this book, it truly is a one stop shop for saving more money for (and even on) souvenirs.

While some of the tips are oldies but goodies (fleshed out with helpful details, borne of experience), some are things I've never considered or heard of before clicking open the book. Lou Mongello created a go to guide for those of us who love Disney but don't want to go in to debt for a magical vacation. I have two last thoughts on this book. First, as all things Disney, the only thing constant is change. There is a very helpful section in the book on PhotoPass+, however that product is no longer available at Walt Disney World as it is being replaced by Memory Maker (a very similar option, but with downloads rather than CDs). This is the trouble with printed books in a rapidly changing situation. Thankfully, the internet is available for checking facts. Second, I love a paper and ink book over a digital version in almost every case. For this book, I'd make an exception as the vast majority of the methods include links to websites of everything from restaurant information to airline ticket comparisons to  grocery delivery suppliers. I am FAR more likely to follow through with saving cash on my vacation when it is easily accessible.
Overall, I give this seven impossible things before breakfast, because anyone who can have this much fun and save this much money clearly knows "it's kind of fun to do the impossible!"

Why 102?
There's an interesting bit of Disney trivia surrounding why Lou chose to go with 102 rather than the more predictable 101, but I'll let you read the book to find out.

In the interest of full disclosure:
While listening along to the WDW Radio (one of my favorite podcasts) Lou Mongello mentioned that a perusal copy of the digital download of his latest book would be made available to bloggers interested in reading it and reviewing it. I emailed him for a copy and received a free download of the book for review. I have no financial relationship with the book.
